Warning to all cat owners.  There has been an outbreak of Feline Enteritis in Sydney very recently.  We know that outbreaks like these do spread from one region to another and usually outbreaks in Sydney are later seen in our region.

Feline Enteritis is a nasty virus that produces a fever, they don't want to eat, Vomiting and Diarrhoea then follow and it can also cause death - sometimes even before gastrointestinal signs are present.

This virus can affect unborn kittens.  It is highly contagious and there is no specific treatment.  Nursing is intensive and lengthy.

Please make sure your cat is vaccinated to avoid the risk of this horrible virus.
